The books, without the spreadsheet archaeology.

Day-to-day accounting for a growing business: invoicing and receipts, ledgers, receivables and payables, tax handling and the financial reports your accountant asks for - in a system your team can actually run.

Available on a monthly subscription.

What XE-Accounts does

The core capabilities, and what each one actually changes in your day-to-day.

Invoicing & receipts

Raise invoices with your own numbering, terms and branding, record receipts against them, and see what is still open.

Ledgers & journals

A proper chart of accounts, journal entries and ledger views - not a pile of transaction rows pretending to be accounting.

Receivables & payables

Ageing by customer and supplier, so collection calls go to the right accounts and nothing is paid twice.

Tax handling

Tax rates, categories and the returns-ready summaries your accountant needs at filing time.

Financial reports

Trial balance, P&L, balance sheet and the management views that tell you how the month actually went.

Multi-user with roles

Accounts staff, managers and auditors each get the access appropriate to their role.

Who it's for

XE-Accounts is a fit if any of the following sounds like your situation.

  • Growing businesses whose accounting has outgrown spreadsheets
  • Finance teams that want invoicing and books in one place
  • Companies whose accountant keeps asking for exports that do not exist
  • Businesses preferring a monthly subscription over a licence purchase
  • Teams that want an enterprise level of application without enterprise-level overhead
  • Businesses that need a cost effective alternative to per-seat SaaS pricing
  • Organisations that want lightning fast application development and rollout

Own it, don't rent it

Everything in the CodeZenX ecosystem is built on our own low-code platform, which means it can be shaped to your process, deployed on infrastructure you control, and extended when your business changes - instead of waiting for a vendor's roadmap.

How we get you live

A short, predictable path from first conversation to a system your team uses every day.

1

Set up the chart of accounts

Your account heads, tax categories, numbering and opening balances are configured to match your existing books.

2

Migrate the balances

Outstanding invoices, payables and ledger balances are brought across and reconciled before go-live.

3

Train the finance team

Day-to-day entry, month-end and reporting walked through with the people who will do it.

4

Close a month with support

We stay close through the first close so the first real month-end is not a scramble.

Common questions

Is XE-Accounts a subscription?

Yes. It is billed on a subscription rather than a perpetual licence, so it is priced per month with support included. Talk to us for a quote against your usage.

Will our accountant be able to work with it?

That is the intent - proper ledgers, standard statements and clean exports. It is worth having your accountant on the scoping call.

Can it connect to our CRM or XE-HRMS?

Yes. XE-Accounts is designed to work alongside the other CodeZenX products, so invoicing from CRM deals and payroll inputs from XE-HRMS do not need re-keying.

Can we migrate from our current software?

Usually, yes - the practical question is what your current system can export. That is assessed before any commitment.
